The Touch of the Masters Hand Driving home from church this afternoon we had the radio on listening to Mars Hill Network. A song began to play that I remember from many years ago. Its a song that speaks about me, or at least about a man a lot like me. Have you been touched yet by the Masters hand? Please take a few minutes to listen. Pay attention to the lyrics. You may want to grab a tissue. Have you been touched yet by the Masters hand? Now you know, many a man with a life out of tune Is battered and scarred with sin And hes auctioned cheap to a thankless world Much like that old violin For many years I journeyed in dry and dusty places – my life out of tune. The day finally came when the Masters hand touched my life and brought it into tune. Oh! Dont think that hand hadnt been there reaching out to me all along. Its just that I kept pushing Him away. Its hard to grasp the value that our Lord puts on each of us! $1000, $2000, $3000 – more? Yes more, the Father sacrificed His Son that we might know the joy of eternity in glory with Him. What a love! Then the Master comes and the foolish crowd They never understand the worth of a soul And the change that is wrought Just by one touch of the Masters hand Can you feel the Masters hand reaching out to you? Let Him touch you. Let Him repair a broken soul.
