The Trials of an Angel I have tried with my given heart, to protect you from evils ways. I have crashed and burned, long through the nights, and many dreaded days. You have stripped me down bare to soul, I know longer have the strength to protect or control. My wings frayed from battles with the dark, to the point being useless. With that all said I have failed my mission and my presence is totally fruitless. I sit on the swing of balance, trying to hold my own, but all I think about is you, scared and all alone. My prayers to my Lord go unanswered, and I understand why. I am to rekindle my strength.. And never never say die. Content for now with my downturn, I await full recovery, my wings will mend and my strength return, then I will fly high with full discovery….. Enchanted whispers I will blow in your ear, to send you in the right direction, for I am here as your conscious, as your heavenly protection. Though you are a troubled one, the lord thinks you to be saved, for you have been chosen as the man that will free the world enslaved. I have my doubts, for the life you live, you have no care for human kind. But someday soon, after battling the evil, I will see how I’ve been blind.
