The Trust are looking for help in moving the club forward. The nature of a fans owned club means that our relationship with it has changed. We are not customers any more and it will stand or fall in relation to the effort that we put into it. Get volunteering Wrexham !!!!!!!!! Under our new Strategic Plan (Our Plan Ein Cynllun 2014-17) which was presented in draft form to the AGM and is now available for comment on our web site Home, we have re-structured some of the ways in which the Trust works, including our sub groups. Please take time to read the draft and feedback any comments to [email protected] A strong theme in sustaining the Trust and the Club is to widen the involvement of members and with this in mind we are now looking for volunteers to help with taking the Club forward by being involved on the committee for each of the following sub groups: * Community Football Club * Fans Ownership * Sustainable Finances The Fans Ownership group is led by our governing body members Dave Jones, Richard Ulrich, Robin Wiggs and Tom Frost, but again need the help of a sub group committee that will be looking to increase the membership; increase membership benefits; preparing the communication plan; deal with all membership queries. This group will also support the wider fans-ownership and Supporters Trust movements. The Sustainable Finances group is led by our Board members Geoff Scott, Jenny Cantwell, Dave Jones and our treasurer Keith Roberts. This group will be looking to continue to raise funds for the football club through fundraising events. They are looking for a sub group to co-ordinate these events and see them through to the conclusion; The group will also be looking to work alongside and help supporters groups with their own fundraising. What’s involved? Each sub group will meet once a month. Every sub group member will be asked to sign a confidentiality form as some of our work requires confidentiality and sensitivity in regards to other businesses and associates. Anyone tasked with a particular action will take responsibility to see those actions through to its conclusion. But I don’t live in the area? No problem. We still need members who have the time to contribute their ideas and to do some of the administrative work that is required which can be done by email.
