The Turfgrass Information Center welcomes The Florida Green to its ever-expanding collection of full-text archives. In 1979, the South Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association published The South Florida Green. Eventually, this association merged into the state-level Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the name of the publication was changed to The Florida Green. This trade publication aims to serve professional turf managers throughout the state of Florida, ranging in content from course and superintendent profiles, industry news, educational articles, and organizational happenings. This publicly-available archive, an ongoing cooperative project of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association and Michigan State University, features access to The Florida Green and its predecessor publication from 1979-present. For a full list of all publicly-available and restricted-access archives hosted by TIC, please see: tic.msu.edu/pubjrnlbrowse.htm
