The U.S. House passed, without objection, on Friday, a bill giving Congress unprecedented monitoring of more than $3.6 billion in assistance to Haiti since the 2010 earthquake and annual reporting by the Secretary of State on Haiti’s commitment to transparency, a market economy, rule of law, and democracy through December 2017.
