The U.S secures a 10 year deal to establish a military base in Djibouti. This basically means were going to be there for the next 100 years. But more important than that, how would a U.S military base impact the region, and relationships with are so-called allies in Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc. Not only that, what would be the impact global trade considering hundreds of billions worth goods are transported everyday through the red sea? What impact would this have on international relations with America now policing not only the Red Sea but the the Gulf Aden, the Persian Gulf, the Straight of Hormus, etc, etc.? Could this be a strategic play against China and Russia with the Russians attempt at controlling the eastern European interests and its efforts to destabilize Ukraine, the Euro and the Dollar, and control of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov? Theres so much to this, but Im very interested to see how this all plays out!
