The UN Commission of Inquiry into the human rights violations in North Korea conducted hearings in London yesterday. NBC Nightly News reported on the hearings (see video clip). The official COI hearings in DC will take place on October 30 and 31 at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, hosted by the US-Korea Institute at SAIS. These hearings are meant to help the Commissioners gather information and evidence in 9 issue areas to assess if the depth and breadth of violations rises to the level of crimes against humanity.
