The US department of Justic has issued Memo dated August 29, 2013 which provides Guideance re Medical Marijuana Enforcement. It is directed at any/all states that have both full legalization and for medicinal use only. It directs all State Attorney Generals to only use resources to investigate and prosecute any/all activity that may violate eight (8) specific illegal activities. So long as states have adequate guidelines, including any city/town/local rules that do not allow any of these eight (8) specific activities, Medicinal Marijuana Clinics will not be prosecuted, nor should resources be spent to do so.
