The Upper Lake was stocked today with thousands of soon to spawn threadfin shad...a great food source to grow trophy bass, with plenty to increase the shad population in the future. Many thanks for our lakes management consultant Greg Grimes, principal of Aquatic Environmental Services, for his guidance in this effort, as well as all other lake related initiatives. Greg has strongly recommended that we fish both lakes aggressively and remove as many small and medium sized bass as we can. This will significantly help us grow trophy bass as part of our overall lakes management strategy. To reserve a boat at either lake, members need to call or email the Lodge...and remember to take picture of your trophy catches and send them to Judi! We will put them on Facebook and the Clubs website.
