The Village of Glen Carbon has retained the services of Gonzalez Companies to conduct investigations and analysis of numerous storm water drainage issues brought to Village’s attention. The Village currently has twenty two (22) known areas being investigated by Gonzalez Companies. As part of the comprehensive Storm Water Management Plan, Gonzalez Companies in conjunction with the Village, will be hosting an open house for Village residents on Tuesday, April 1st from 5-7pm at Village Hall, 151 N. Main St. The purpose of the open house is to allow Village residents an opportunity to outline any drainage or stormwater problems they may be experiencing. Gonzalez Companies staff will be available to discuss and catalog the resident’s complaints and/or concerns. Information gathered will allow Village staff and Gonzalez Companies to catalog, analyze, and properly identify potential infrastructure improvements to alleviate storm water issues within the Village. In the event you cannot attend the open house, Storm Water Questionnaires are available at Village Hall and online by visiting glen-carbon.il.us and clicking on the tab labeled “Questionnaires”.
