Click on the link and register collegeweeklive/index.cfm?ckey=CA&folder=Guest&page=CollegeWeekLive_INTERNATIONAL_DAY&lang=en The virtual fair will provide an excellent opportunity for foreign students to explore options for study in the United States. Over 100 participating U.S. institutions and EducationUSA staff will be available online to answer questions about how to select a U.S. institution, finance a U.S. education, and navigate the student visa process. International students enrich classrooms, campuses and communities in ways that endure long after students return to their home countries. International students develop an understanding of U.S. values and perspectives that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. International experiences connect students, scholars and emerging leaders around the world, enabling them to collaborate and tackle today’s challenges like workforce development, climate change, and global health. These experiences also prepare students for the globalized 21st century workforce. The U.S. is the top destination for international students, hosting a record 764,495 foreign students in the 2011-12 academic year.
