The Water Safety Card - an Rowing Qld initiative All members of the Queensland Rowing Community must obtain a Water Safety Card. Complete the RQ Online Water Safety Course (**see link at bottom) To obtain the safety card individuals must have knowledge of the following - For Rowers / Coxswains: Understand the importance of on and off water safety conduct Understand what to do and who to contact in the event of an incident and how to report it For Coaches: Understand the importance of on and off water safety Understand what to do and who to contact in the event of an incident and how to report it Provide resources and guidelines to coaches on how to implement safety management and conduct a risk assessment and safety audit For School Rowing Masters and Club Safety Officers: How to conduct a safety / risk assessment Safety Assessment Checklist Rowing Queensland Incident Report Form Adopting the Rowing Queensland water safety policy in your club/ school, this policy includes: Boat Lights Program Licensing Requirements Working with Children Check - Blue Card Policy Workplace Health & Safety Rowing Australia - National Insurance Policy – Willis Heat Policy Sun Smart Policy Receiving and Reporting Disclosure of Harm Regatta Safety Towing Safety Regulations
