The Wayne County Historical Society is working on new exhibits for the Grand opening of the museum , Saturday, April 26, 2014,entitled Mystery Portraits of Wayne County, Historic Floods of Wayne County, and Grandma’s Attic.. They are being assisted with the floods of Wayne County exhibit by a bright, young man from Wallenpaupack High School, Sal Zarzana. Sal is a member of the National Honor Society, the “Friends of Rachel” club and the “History Club” whose focus is local history. Sal is doing twelve hours of volunteerism, a requirement of the National Honor Society. We are so excited to have him assisting with this exhibit and bringing new ideas and thoughts to the society.
