The Westminster Shorter Catechism contains the following question and answer Q. 1. What is the chief end of man? A. Mans chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever. I would like to share this in light of reflecting on whether I find sufficiency in Jesus in my life. In the midst of worldly desires, such as a high status job, relationships, and saving up to buy things, I can lose sight of the fact the Lord is what matters most. Are these things to glorify myself or to glorify God? Should I choose the better part and sit by Jesus feet to enjoy his presence? Easy to say and can be very difficult to put into practice cause you gonna get your mind right! ;) Got me thinking of this song at some level youtu.be/DbV18zH1P5c
