The White House Day (1)- At The White House African-American Faith Leaders Briefing with a few of our UPPC clergy/community leaders. We have been briefed by U.S. Government officials; WH Office of Public Engagement, WH Intergovernmental Affairs, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, My Brothers Keeper Task Force, AmeriCorp VISTA and WH Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. We were apart of a select group of National Faith Leaders invited by President Obamas Administration to update us on issues regarding the economy, justice, Ferguson, the minimum wage, civil rights, the Affordable Care Act and other important issues in the United States. There are so many opportunities to bring healing and justice to our community. #TeamUPPC #MovingUsForward
