The abandonment of allied interpreters is yet another tragedy of the Iraq and Afghan wars. Earlier this year I had dinner with a business associate who did two tours in Faluja and has been trying to get a vital interpreter resettled in the U.S. for years. You may have heard the This American Life program earlier this year about this horrible situation.
