The ad has an important message that I agree with, *BUT* the statistics they share bother me tremendously... if you asked me if I liked science and math when I was a kid, I would have said yes, but I didnt get an engineering degree--I got a degree doing research, which involved science and tons of math; my second major involved tons of logic, math, and computer science but also wasnt engineering. I went into a career that involved IT and now focuses heavily on math. Just because youre not an engineering major doesnt mean that you arent in a field that involves STEM skills, so the statistics they mention are mostly useless.
