The addition of spices to tea is also an established principle. Favourites are Cardamom, Cloves, Ginger, Cinnamon, pepper and even in some places salt. Cardamom tea on its own has a varied flavour often being described as citrusy, floral and sweet with notes of smokiness and aromatic musk. This variety of sensations in the flavor makes it a popular choice for combining with other flavours which makes it rare to find it as the sole ingredient in a flavoured tea. In addition, it is more often found with a black tea, Indian Chai masala for example, but it is not exclusively so. Today we are featuring it with a Chinese Green tea. Touch of the Orient SBS one of my personal favourite flavoured teas. A Green Chinese tea with cardamom, pepper grains and black & red currants produce this recessing and delicious Oriental flavour. it is one of those rare mixtures that cools you in the summer and warms you in the winter. The great thing is it cheers you up and refreshes you all year round.Drop by and get some
