The amazing work by so many people, including loads from Critical Mass over the last 8 months of Stop Killing Cyclists protests (which I co-founded with Steve Routley) has been recognised by my being shortlisted for London Cycling Campaigns Cycling Champion of the Year. stopkillingcyclists.org/ The award is decided by a vote by the public. The list includes Chris Boardman, Rachel Aldred and Andrew Gilligan. I would have preferred if the honour had been bestowed on Stop Killing Cyclists itself, but if I won it would help promote our campaign demands for a safer London.
