The announcement on the roundtable session at AAA 2013 in Chicago, organized by Mark Auslander of Central Washington U and me. This is a double roundtable, with Part I on nuclear weaponry sponsored by the AAA Executive Committee, and Part II on nuclear energy sponsored by the Society for East Asian Anthropology (invited session.) Unfortunately it is scheduled on Sunday, so I would like to spread the words on this roundtable early so that people can schedule their travel accordingly! Feel spread the words on this roundtable, which is a collaborative efforts of anthropologists, scholars outside of Anthropology, and activists working on issues related to nuclear weaponry and energy in the U.S., Marshall Islands, and Japan.
