The annual Mr. and Ms IAC is not really a 100% beauty pageant; it is actually a celebration of "dorm humor" and to an extent, dorm culture. It is the final rite of passage of any freshman (even if only a select few get to actually compete) as he/she witnesses the unique kind of humor and laughter that color our lives of our community. To all the contestants, congratulations. More than the sash and crown you did (or did not) get, you worked very hard to showcase and promote the thousand and one things that truly accessorize our lives - the laughter of a teammate, the support of a friend, the consoling cheer that will always, always back you up till graduation day.
