The answer a Centrelink lady gave me today that blew me away... I had to speak to Centrelink about something today so I did it on my hands free while I drove to a child sleep consultation. Because 30 minutes wait time. The lady had to run some thingy through her computer to calculate something and told me it would take a minute or two. I answered No problem. Normal, right?? THEN she answered Wow, thanks for being so lovely and polite. You have been the nicest person Ive spoken to today. Wow. Just wow. Apparently some other guy had yelled at her on the call before me. And there were numerous other cranky rude pants earlier. Poor Centrelink lady. Im sorry I made your day, it reflects pretty badly on the rest of it because I wasnt being overly friendly...just using basic manners.
