The armadillo wars are getting to me. I spread black plastic every night to cover where they are digging and the go out the next morning and take it up. I have to weigh it down with chairs a picknick table, rocks, a lawnmower, a garbage can full of birdseed, a rock bar and a wheel barrel. The second night when I first started, the armadillo pushed two chairs off the retainer wall and got under the plastic and dug in the yard anyway. I will post a picture in the morning to show what it takes to deter an armadillo. The first thing or my honey do list is shoot the armadillo.
