The army does not investigate, it whitewashes. The failure of the current Israeli apparatus for investigating suspected violations of law during armed conflict is like the weather: Everybody talks about it, but nobody does anything about it. Well, we decided to take action and as reported in todays Haaretz, informed the MAG Corps that we will not cooperate with the same old investigation they intend to conduct into the recent conflict in Gaza. The report publishes data collected by our colleagues from Yesh Din ييش دين יש דין and by us, explaining how both organisations concluded that the Israeli government is unwilling to investigate harm caused to Palestinians.
