The attached post on supersoldiertalk, which Ive never heard of - TopicsExpress

The attached post on supersoldiertalk, which Ive never heard of before, is the second obit I could find for Michael Hemmingson. It claims his death in January was linked to an overdose of medicines, which may be linked to his depression. Such a thing would certainly not be surprising, but this blog also says he was probably clipped by black ops. This seems to be a running theme with Hemmingson, who was reportedly implicated in the assassination of an MKULTRA operative in November-December of last year. Those commenting on the attached conspiracy blog seem to think that the blonde in the photograph is a red flag, an assessment with which I strongly concur. Every noir writer working between 1930 and 1980 seems to agree with me, and with good reason. Do you have any idea how many prolific writers have been assassinated in Tijuana by American black ops after getting their pictures taken with blondes in the libraries of Victorian mens clubs? Yeah, laugh it up, but theres a reason the General Accounting Office has never commissioned a study on the phenomenon. I mean, how did Hemmingway REALLY die, and who was that blonde he might have been seen standing next to in Cuba in March, 1953? Trust me, were all better off not knowing. I have no idea how serious these people are (or think they are). Is this some complicated LARP? An underground-radio in-joke? Folie à Beaucoup? Clinically significant insanity? Conspiracy theoreticians run amok? Genuine conspiracies run amok? Paid disinfo agents of US intelligence agencies? Second-string hirelings of Joe Pesci, Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Oldman? Paramilitary operation by high-ranking Harper Collins employees to get William T. Vollman elected President? Ill never know, and I like it better that way. If it seems like Im making light of Michael Hemmingsons death, well, yeah, I am, I guess. How can I not? But it really does suck shit to see Hemmingson go, so young, especially if it was due to (or partially caused by) his depression. I did not know the guy very well, but I enjoyed working with him and he had a lot more books to write. Im damned sorry Ill never get to read them. Hope hes at peace, whatever that means for him. RIP, Michael Hemmingson...youll be fondly remembered. supersoldiertalk/2014/01/19/r-i-p-michael-hemmingson/
