The battle continues. After several weeks of Carol’s cancer markers decreasing, the last two weeks the markers have started to go up again. The present chemo that Carol is on has a delayed response and we are hoping her marker will plateau or go down. If this does not happen, it means the chemo is starting not to work. If this is the case, the oncologist suggests that we next enroll in a phase 1 clinical trial of a new drug at the University of Colorado that may be open to Carol. The other option is to go back to an initial chemo that caused significant nerve damage and try a reduced amount of this chemo together with her present chemo. We ask for your prayers for guidance. We sense God’s Presence and Guidance daily. Daily we see so many of His Gifts and Blessings. Our youngest son (Adam) and his family have sold their house in Lakewood and are moving back soon to Montrose with their two sons. We are very excited to have the whole family so close.
