The beneficial tribal instinct in human beings (specifically in men) is being wasted on sports fanaticism. This same energy would be better served in local and civic pride - i.e. contributing to a stronger local infrastructure and decreased local corruption. Unfortunately, sports fulfills this ingrained genetic tribal void in humans, and thus too many men could care less about their community so long as their local sports team has a good QB! In fact, some men do care, but they dont spend nearly the amount of energy understanding what plagues their tribe (metaphor for community) as they do what plagues their favorite team, and thus they lack the knowledge to effectively help the tribe. Excessive sports fanaticism is one of the many distractions thats contributing to a disintegration of society. Some of you sports needs will disagree with me which is typical of people who are unaware of their own ignorance. Become a fan of your community! Theres a lot of crap going on in Miami right now and nobody is doing anything to prevent it!
