The best way to help develop our students self esteem is by raising expectations. They are capable of a lot more than they actually know. When a teacher expects higher level of work, the students may not like the teacher in the moment, but they will like themselves when they realize their potential. Awarding work or students for less than extraordinary work may appear nice and kind thing, it isnt. Students know the truth in their heart. They have seen athletes and champions working very hard. Easy rewards, and over complimenting can actually make them confused, or careless. Students are the most valuable part of our nation. They are the future of our great nation. Teachers and parents have the toughest job . The job that needs one hundred percent dedication to the students of all ages, from preschool to college. May God grant His wisdom to all for this academic year.
