The bible says Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:23 What does that mean? The Kingdom of God is not heaven here. It is referring to the way God does business. This is totally different from the way we do business in the world and deal with relationships. Many times its the opposite! You will need the guidance counselor called The Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and life. Furthermore, note that it says HIS righteousness NOT yours. Your righteousness even when you think you have not sinned (trying to live by the law or a good moral code) on your best day is but filthy rags or like a soiled tampon! (Isaiah 64:6) Friend, everything is wrapped up in the perfect gift of Jesus finished work. The hardest thing to do for most Christians is to receive because they have been so conditioned to give by tradition. Once you receive Grace it will be effortless to Give!
