The board removal, combined with the ask, could lead me to a variety of places. Sometimes the ask throws me back on board removal that deals with issues of my own that I need to work through. Sometimes the ask puts me in the position of dealing with someone else’s issues. For the ask to be resolved, I must work with the other person through their issues. This will usually push me back to some issues of my own. Sometimes the ask and the answer received show me that I was asking the wrong thing. Once again, I’m back to board removal work. Sometimes board removal and asking seems like a tedious process. It certainly takes time. It sometimes takes us places and has us deal with things when we would rather not. However, the process causes us to grow, helps us deal with the other person in a win-win perspective; and, as Jesus said, if we keep at it, we will receive what we are asking.
