The chair of governors at a school in Whitby has been asked to resign after joining UKIP, following claims that UKIPs policies are against the ethos of the school. Councillor Mike Ward has stepped down but other UKIP members have lodged a complaint on his behalf. Look North spoke to Sam Cross, the partys group leader on North Yorkshire County Council.
