The charter flight carrying 3 Queens Baton Relay team members, Mrs Fortuna Belrose, Regional Vice President for the Commonwealth Games Federation, a BBC film crew of three and presenter, Mark Beaumont, arrived at 13:00 in to the Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport. The QBR team and BBC crew were met by an informal welcome group comprising Mr. Ephraim Penn, President BVIOC, Mr. Mark Chapman, Chef de Mission, XX Commonwealth Games, Hon. Myron Walwyn Minister for Education, Culture and Sports, District Representative Honourable Marlon Penn, Mr. Patrick Harrigan, Director DYAS, Mr Paul Hewlett, Deputy Director, DYAS, and Mr. Elsworth Phillips, BVI Swim Association. Ms Lynette Harrigan and Kevis Hughes of the BVI Tourist Board handled the VIP Customs and Immigration clearance process .
