The child support collection rankings are out for 2014. There are 120 counties in Kentucky and the state ranks them from 1 (best) to 120 (worst) in collecting child support. This is one of, if not the most important job of a county attorney. When my opponent took office in 2010, Carter County ranked 37th. As of today, Carter County is ranked 107th out of 120 counties in collecting child support. A fall of 70 spots in 4 years! That is unacceptable. Our children deserve better. Deadbeat parents are getting away with not paying child support. I will do everything in my power to bring this number back to what it should be.
