The chord sequence of this song was from a side project that never got off the ground 5 years ago. The old version was more of a straightforward retro 80s track. I decided to take that track and turn it into soul IDM. The guitar solo near the end is also jacked from the old version of this song. The vocals were recorded in two parts: The verses were recorded a few days after my surgery. The chorus vocals were recorded a week later. A lot of the song (especially the vocals) is influenced by Prince.
