The city of Siloam Springs is planning a memorial to honor the heroes they have lost fighting for our country including TSGT John W. Brown who along with fellow Arkansan SCPO Tommy Ratzlaff were killed August 6, 2011 when their chinook helicopter carrying 31 special operations troops including many members of Seal Team 6 was shot down. They are having an event September 6 to help raise funds for this memorial. There is more information in the link I will post in the comments. The families of TSGT Brown and SCPO Ratzlaff are in our thoughts and prayers this week. They will never be forgotten.
