The command in Rom 12 to renew your mind means that even though you have Holy Spirit, the Anointing of God, within you (if you are born-again in Jesus), means you have to be involved in the process. And the process takes time and effort. 3-6 hours a day in the Scriptures and 2-4 hours in loud, hard and fast tongues is just a starter set. If you do less you get less; if you do more you get more. You are given the gift of salvation grace. But that part is only guranteed in heaven. To manifest it in this earth requires work, lots of diligent work. Since this truth has been so preverted, here is just one verse on this. 1 Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. If you are not working and laboring in the Lord, then what you are doing is, at best, vanity.
