Should Zimmerman and Martin both have the right to defend themselves ? YES! Do Martin and Zimmerman both have the right to walk a street without harassment ? YES! One can not expect to look for trouble and not find it. Zimmerman created the series of events by his initial choice and subsequent action. His choice in a split second to identify Martin as a threat and proceed. Zimmerman had no obligation or authority to engage. He made a choice. He may not be guilty of murder but in my eyes he certainly is not innocent.
