The connect ed message from the call last night: Monday folders went home today for everyone. Second grade teachers have especially asked that their parents check out all the parent letters that went home today. Third grade parents we have a very important meeting scheduled for Sept. 5th for you. We will be explaining the new Read To Achieve legislation that is going to directly impact you and your student this year. The meeting will begin at 6:30 in our media center. This will be a very important meeting and we strongly encourage you to attend. Also, there was a glitch today with the copiers and the third grade spelling contracts will go home tomorrow. Next week we will be celebrating Grandparents Day. We will send a schedule home by Thursday letting you know what day is assigned for each grade level. We have scheduled our normal spring Drive-in Movie NIght for Saturday September 14th. Information should have come home today. We are opting for the fall to try and avoid those monster spring mosquitos. Please don’t forget to send back in all the information that went home last week and required your signatures. Also parents please read over the dress code. We have been experiencing some problems with the length of skirts and shorts. Also please make sure students wear their tennis shoes on the PE and dance days.
