The controlling POLITICAL PARTIES nominate anyone to be the PM (via RS); appoint the Cabinet & other Ministers, bureaucrats and judges to leading influential roles; choose the President and the VP. The media report that the dynastic Political Parties rule over India by fair means or foul, and have alleged cases of corruption pending against them. The media also report that they exercise ABSOLUTE CONTROL over the country by (i) subverting the Constitution, Parliament, the Electoral System, Democratic Institutions, Democratic Checks & Balances, the Laws (ii) forming a nexus of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary (iii) buying up electoral votes in many different ways using allegedly ill-gotten wealth, or political patronage. It is also alleged that sections of the media are under the control of political parties and used for propaganda.
