The creator has a precise timing for everything. Christ could not die until the right time, because God assigned his crucifixion to coincide with an eclipse so that the entire sky would turn black and there would be a major earthquake- ripping the temple veil in two. When people asked Christ about when his return would take place- he told them to watch - that there would be signs in the sky... The moon would turn to blood ( lunar eclipse)-- the sun to sackcloth ( solar eclipse)... Remember when Jesus said. I go to prepare a place for you? This is exactly what the groom would say to his fiancé before leaving to build their house. The proposal was interesting- he would slide a cup of wine toward her, and if she sipped the wine- it meant yes, I accept your wedding proposal, but of she didnt it meant rejection. Then, he would leave- and she would await his return. But she had to keep her lamp lit- otherwise. She would fail to have enough light to see by and could not meet him at his return. She always kept her lamp lit. I stand at the door and knock...let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life Remember, no one will be in heaven as a result of their own merit. Christ is the snake on the staff. just as Moses lifted the serpent in the desert, so must I be lifted up, that I can bring all men unto me Know your power. All who call on the name of The Lord will be saved. How can they call on someone theyve not heard if? How can they hear without someone bringing the word? Blessed are the feet of those who bring the good news! The good news is, you are accepted by god ( as you are -- there are no strings attached) You are forgiven by god. You are known by god .
