The dangers of silence are many and great. There are many among us who believe that if they are silent, if they don’t draw attention to the fact that they are armed, that somehow they will avoid government persecution should the Second Amendment and other Rights be violated by a tyrannical government. I once felt the same way, but not any longer! I now believe that the government needs to know exactly how many Patriots are out there! They need to know exactly what they are up against!! Don’t take this personally, but far too many Americans hide their Rights! Far too many think if they just be quiet that they will somehow slip under the radar and this just isn’t true!!! “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” ~Thomas Jefferson Should the government fear its people? Absolutely!! Our Founding Fathers knew this and they framed our Constitution to give the People power over the government. They entrusted us to be the first and the final check and balance. They gave us the First and Second Amendments because they knew that without them no other Amendments could stand. These two Amendments are 1st and 2nd for this very reason!
