The date is finally set for Matthews surgery: December 10th. He will be in the hospital at least two days so they can monitor his severe sleep apnea (1 to 5 is mild, 6 to 10 moderate, and anything over 10 is severe...Matthews is 51) and then home recuperating for at least two weeks. The surgery will take place at Loma Linda Hospital in Loma Linda because of the severity of his sleep apnea. Please try to visit him in the hospital while he is there because lately he is feeling unloved and uncared for by most of his family (going through a poor me stage). Jeremy is going to try and spend the night with him after surgery :) They prefer someone spend the night and I didnt think I could get up and down off those cots they give you to sleep on...lol...you gotta love this old arthritis...lol.
