"The day I trusted Jesus Christ for salvation by faith alone I received a perfect righteousness that is reckoned [credited, imputed] to my eternal bank account in Heaven. I no longer attempt to establish my own righteousness or mix faith with works because that only leads to Hell and destruction. God reckons what the Surety [Jesus] did on my behalf so that His righteousness becomes as much mine for justification before God, as though I had obeyed the law, and satisfied justice in my own person."
