The days brief: I am excited to have finally finished my massive Homeschool Notification packet to send to the district! By law we are only required to notify in three possible ways with very minimal info outlined. Mine is different 25 pages in total, well beyond what the Law requires (whch might frustrate people on both sides of the aisle. Oh well), but our situation is unique and it makes me feel I am using my formal education to put together a packet like this which is fulfilling and enjoyable to me...I dont know. It just feels like something I need to do for myself..to see what we have accomplished, set our goals, and show how we came about our curriculum choices, and to have the chance to share that with the system..who knows... maybe even teach them something new myself ;) It is just fulfilling to send in those test score sheets with our educational philosophy, curriculum considerations and methodology. Corny, I know...but until I get the chance to write an actual dissertation, this will have to do. ;) I like to write. I like to make lists, outlines, and get my word out there... Also, I just finished my sons 12th birthday slideshow and it came out even better than last year!!! 30 minutes and some funny moments and cool soundtrack lineups. I sure love doing these...a chance to get creative and do a favorite past time...organizing the years memories into pictures. Well, its been a productive and fulfilling day. Tomorrow I start my work in Promotions for Teenpact, and create the high school transcript and classwork schedule for starting school next Tuesday...with Tom here!!! Enjoy your evenings.
