The design of the bicycle has changed in over 100 years! Well, here is my improvement to the crank. This crank does not rotate all the way around. The lobe shape of the crank creates more torque as you step through to the bottom of the pedal stroke. The pedal should be spring loaded to return to top on its own. The action to ride this bike will be more like a stair stepper. Not having to go all the way around means youll need less time to reset the pedal. One may be able to bounce as a means of activating this pedal action. Because the feet wont have to traverse all the way around, it will mean less motion than a conventional bicycle needs. Word of warning: This design belongs to the world now! Dont try to patent it, but feel free to use it.
