The destiny of Igbo land is right here in the hands of Igbo - TopicsExpress

The destiny of Igbo land is right here in the hands of Igbo people, take it or leave it,regardless of the amount of prayers and incantations we make on daily basis, let us gossip and complain about all the problems in Igbo land everyday, blame one another, blame the federal republic of Nigeria, the problem will still be there if we did not take an appropriate actions to bring about the desirable solutions because action they say speaks louder than voice and also we know that action and reaction are equal and opposite.. However,it is very vital for us to disabuse our mind of the notion that any state in Igbo land belongs to any elected governor of that state or any senatorial district belongs to any senator elected from that district or any local government belongs to the chairman of that local government. All of them are elected to serve the people and for this reason any of them found wanting in his position should be exposed without fear or favor because Igbo land belongs to all of us and so if it is good everyone will rejoice and at the same time if the land is bad it will also affect all.collectively we have the right to decide who governs us and also the right to reject any bad leader. We the people of Igbo land should rise to the occasion by rejecting every tactics of our evil leaders who use divide and rule or tribalism as a tool to remain in power,we must see ourselves as one people regardless of your state, tribe or language by so doing we can present a very strong and united force to overcome our challenges. Igbo nation need visionary leaders with focus and love for igbo land, leaders that will effectively take good care of all the problems in Igbo land. With all the five governors in Igbo land,OHANEZE and MASSOB no one can authoritatively say this is the total number of Igbos killed since the start of this Boko haram sensation, their names, families and villages they came from, those that survived the killing what was the compensation given to them as people that came back from a war zone and if there is compensation at all from the federal government what is the guarantee that the money will get to them. What happened to the dredging of Niger river and Oguta lake and the second Niger bridge,if the federal government is politicizing the projects what stops the five governors in Igbo land with OHANEZE and MASSOB from taking up the projects. Thank God we no longer depends on their radio stations and newspapers to air our views,we are now free to say what we want to say and whenever we want to say it and it will get to them and for this no Igbo man has any reason to feel less concerned about matters affecting the Igbo land,we can now use our voting right to choose the right people to lead Igbo land and also can use the same voting right to vote out those ruining our land and so for any election in Igbo land let everyone come out and exercise his right for a better Igbo nation. Long Live Igbo Land. Ejiofor Churchil.
