The disease theory in terms of mental illness and human crime is simply not sufficient. That’s not to say that disease theory is totally wrong, there could be some truth it is found within it. But what is wrong is shifting the moral question to the disease rather than to the problem of human sinfulness and the reality that sin, violence, murder, anger, all kinds of things, lurk in the human heart and not just in what can be described as a pathology or a disease.
