The elaborate process taken to rid the community of this great evil and the complying manner in which the accused goes along with the ritual is what may be more common and will be business as usual in countries that are trying to implement Hudud Islamic laws like in Malaysia and just as Brunei has recently done. Gay men and women will be among the first to be stoned. Horrible as it is to see this was what Moses taught the children of Israel to observe and something Yeshua had to deal with when he said......Let he that is without sin cast the first stone.
