The evil one 1 Peter 5:6-9 New International Version (NIV) 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. Do we really think that we can over come the evil one by ourselves no matter how big you are or how strong you are this is the prince of Darkness. What is he afraid of US! Well the scripture and the power that comes from the blood that was shed on the cross! The problem too many of us have fallen asleep or been lead astray. We look at sin sometimes and write it off for Grace. Well He wants us to strive to be close to Him not just live meager lives but VICTORIOUS regardless of the situation or circumstances we are in at the present time! There is nothing more appealing to the Devil than a Christian that does not realize the power he has in God ! Or the people that God has put in His life to direct the child of God back to the father! Want to do it on your own? You can and fail! And the evil one is waiting for you! But you have fellow believers praying for you. Patiently waiting for you to fall so you will be in a place to be loved and healed and hopefully we all will learn our lesson from this! I don’t know we are all pretty stubborn that is why the Father’s love is so great ! If you are reading this I have been praying for you and others have too! Not because of who you are but whose you are and sometimes inspite of yourself! Love ya P.A.
