The fact that the poorest 10% have to cough up a bigger share of their pittance to the tax man than the wealthiest 10% pay from their comfortable millions is deplorable enough, but its nothing at all like the fantastically tiny slice corporations pay from even larger billions. So the burden of providing tax revenue shifts ever harder onto the shoulders of those who are struggling to get by. This is what sound fiscal management apparently means: good financial news only for those at the top. Its time for ordinary Canadians to matter to our politicians.
